Your Profile Drives Your Matches
In TenderRadar, your company profile is the foundation of every match score. The AI compares each new tender against your profile to determine relevance. A well-crafted profile surfaces opportunities you'd want to bid on; a vague one produces noise.
How AI Profiling Works
When you paste your website URL during signup, our AI crawls your public pages and extracts key information: what services or products you offer, which industries you serve, your geographic presence, technical capabilities, certifications, and past project experience.
This automated process captures most of what matters, but it's only as good as your website content. If your site doesn't mention a capability, the AI can't include it in your profile.
Tips for Better Profiles
Be specific about capabilities. "IT consulting" is too broad. "Cloud migration for healthcare organisations using Azure" is specific enough to match against relevant tenders accurately.
List your certifications. ISO standards, security clearances, and professional accreditations appear frequently in tender requirements. Including them in your profile ensures you match against tenders that require them.
Mention past contract types. If you've delivered framework agreements, worked on EU-funded projects, or completed contracts for specific types of contracting authorities, say so. The AI recognises these patterns.
Update after major changes. Won a large contract in a new sector? Hired a team with new expertise? Re-run the profile analysis or manually update your capabilities to capture these changes.
Multiple Profiles for Different Business Lines
If your company operates across distinct sectors — say, IT services and management consulting — consider creating separate profiles for each. This produces more focused matching than a single broad profile that tries to cover everything.
Reviewing Match Quality
Regularly review your top-matched tenders. If you're seeing irrelevant results, your profile likely needs refinement. If you're missing opportunities you should have seen, check whether the relevant capabilities are actually reflected in your profile.
