Notice summary
In the nature reserve Putten Weiden in Kieldrecht (municipality Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht) several canals are silted. Due to this, rainwater cannot drain quickly enough from the area with valuable salt vegetation. Therefore, the sludge in the northern canal must be removed. Since the sludge is contaminated with PFAS and code 999 it needs to be disposed of at a recognized sludge treatment center.
